Colette McBeth has written four critically acclaimed psychological thrillers. Her third book, An Act of Silence was shortlisted for the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger. Her fourth, Call Me a Liar, is out now.

 Colette is a journalist and spent ten years at the BBC as a television news and political correspondent before writing her first novel.

She is Scottish but grew up in the North East of England and now lives on the south coast with her husband and three children.
