Amanda Jennings has had four books published. She writes psychological thrillers and dark dramas with an interest in the strain that past trauma places on ordinary people and their relationships.
Her debut, Sworn Secret, was a kindle bestseller in the UK and Italy. The Judas Scar was optioned by a TV production company and In Her Wake, was a WHSmith Fresh Talent pick. Her fourth book, The Cliff House, was a Heatseeker bestseller. Her fifth book, The Storm, is out in July 2020.

Before becoming published, Amanda worked at the BBC as a researcher and as a teaching assistant for children with special needs. She is a regular guest on BBC Berkshire’s Book Club, and judges the Henley Youth Festival’s creative writing competition, and enjoys talking at festivals, schools and libraries.

When she’s not writing she can generally be found loitering with intent on social media or traipsing the Oxfordshire countryside trying to think up dark and twisted stories with her dog for company.
