Amanda Jennings had has three books published. She writes psychological thrillers and dark dramas, with an interest in the strain that past trauma places on ordinary people and their relationships.
Her debut, Sworn Secret, was a kindle best seller in the UK and Italy. The Judas Scar was optioned by a TV production company, and her most recent book, In Her Wake, was a WHSmith Fresh Talent pick. Her fourth book, The Cliff House, is due out with HQ in Spring 2018.
Before becoming published, Amanda worked at the BBC as a researcher and as a teaching assistant for children with special needs. She is a regular guest on BBC Berkshire’s Book Club, and judges the Henley Youth Festival’s creative writing competition. She also enjoys appearing at festivals, schools and libraries.
When she’s not writing she can generally be found loitering with intent on social media or traipsing the Oxfordshire countryside trying to think up dark and twisted stories with her dog for company.
